I have known Sophie for many years... when we first met I was at a low ebb recovering from a few life's hard knocks... Sophie connected with me, helped and supported me... looked inside me to see what neede fixing and thaught me to become conscious of my emotions... to have insight into my relashionship with myself... from this sarting point we were able to work on posture..., mine was bad but Sophie helped me to stand tall... mentally and physically... she thaught me how to ground myself... feeling the whole of a movement... from it's origin... how it is created and then on to giving it freedom... to listen to what is inside then create where it goes... self knowledge I suppose... I have learn much more than tango from sophie. Thank you Sophie

I met Sophie through tango. Watching her dance is a joy; she so fully inhabits her body. I've been lucky enought to take numerous classes with her over the years. She is an ouststanding teacher, not only because of her technical skill but because of her deep understanding of how posture, movement and breath translate into focus and energy. Her work adresses fundamental issues of health and wellbeing that go well beyong dance. In my job as a teacher trainer and as a longtime student of karate and Zen Buddhism I have constantly found things in Sophie's work that lead to insights and practical benefits in my wider life and work. If you have the opportunity to work with her, I highly recommend you.

I have known Sophie for severl years now and my experience with her have been very positive and uplifting. I have had many Tango classes and private lessons with her. Sophie's clear explanations about how mind and body work together have enhanced my dancing experience but it has also impact on my personal life too. I am grateful for her kidness, insight and gentle approach.

I have worked with Sophie several times and have the pleasure of hosting her at two of our Tango intensive weekends. She constantly brings an effervescent positive energy to the room and warmth that pulls all the participants right in. She passionately shares her skills and knowledge freely alongside a personal honed philosophy and approach of the body. It is always clear that her guidance comes from a place of authentic reflexion, study, curiosity and experimentation. As a teacher myself, I know that study in itself is one thing but the sharing and translation of that for the benefit of others is quite another. Sophie uses a range of strategies and techniques to cover her objective, adapting to the person and circumstance with ease. Whether it is a group or one to one context, she will always leave you feeling regenerated, inspired and equipped to move your own practise forward.
